Dash Knob Bezel Question

-
I don't read LMC's catalog much but I was looking up part #30-2674 with Google and a page from their catalog came up with a picture of the part. It is a fluted dash knob bezel and here is what it says about it.

I have had quite a few '67-'72 GM trucks and have seen a lot more, and I don't recall ever seeing any stock fluted dash knob bezels...... Anyone ever see a bezel like this on an original truck? Now I know LMC's reputation for accuracy, but I have never seen any reference to this claim on the board.

Anyways, just curious.

Re: Dash Knob Bezel Question

Not sure what that is for. Even the center hole is bigger in the pic.

Re: Dash Knob Bezel Question

Looks like the choke knob bezel after looking at the truck and car shop catalog (they have a picture). Says its only for 67-68.

OK, I went out and opened the package. It screws on a WS wiper switch and a headlight switch just fine. I didn't want to take any of my stock choke cables apart but it looks like it would screw on those with no problem also, so the center hole is the same.. All of my manual choke cables have the solid chrome bezels on them but I don't know what year they are from..... My '68 has a 327 in it so it has a choke delete. Dunno.
