71/71 Door handles

How good are the reproduction door handles. I need a set and not sure if the new ones are any good. The price is definitely good, but they want 85.00 a door to rechrome.

Re: 71/71 Door handles

I bought a set for my 71 from LMC and they look, fit, and feel nice.
They work fine too.
I have not left them out in the weather yet, and only had them on for about a year.

I have bought a few of these sets and as far as I can tell, they are pretty high quality.

I looked at summit last night. Seems they sell 3 different brands. Gookmark 59.00, United Pacific 41.00, Eddie Motorsports 315.00. Do you remember which brand you got?

I ordered all mine from LMC Truck. They were $29.95 each for the handle, hardware and gaskets. Not sure the brand but I've had good luck with Goodmark.

I bought mine from gmcpaul’s. Very good quality,
It seems to have a better design than the original.
I remember getting it on sale, The price was just
right(around $25 a piece)

Re: 71/71 Door handles

I've had good luck with mine. I want to say Counterparts, whomever manufactures those. They were a gift from my wife from a local vendor where I live. The only thing I didn't like were the rubber gaskets that come with. But the chrome and mechanicals are great.
