Trailing Arms?

’72 C10 full-size bed. Trailing arms are separating. Weld them up? Weld on top & bottom plates? Get new? (if “get new” - where?) Thanks

Re: Trailing Arms?

If it were me and my OEM were compromised I don't think just welding them up would make me feel all that great. I would replace. I think I saw that ECE had some new arms available, and I have found all their stuff to be excellent.

Re: Trailing Arms?

Thanks for the replies. I bought new - because I have money I haven’t even borrowed yet. What’s the secret(s) for getting the front bolts out - and how do I remove the e-brake cables from the clips? Thanks

Front bolts I used a shop hammer and a wrench just lubricate them in pb blaster for a cuple of days I also have my bed off so that made it easier

And the clips I just used vice grips and pulled them
