Bed bolts
Hello,
Working on my '81 short/step. I have removed the rear leafs to replace bushings. In order to access the LF leaf eye bolt, I had to remove the long bed bolt that sits right in front of the eye bolt nut. I have been dreading dealing with the bed bolts as they are most all loose (can wiggle them back and forth) but the nuts are all seized on the bolt. Head just spins when trying to take them out. I finally got it out after much heating/cursing I see the aftermarket bolt kits don't have the one long bolt that my truck has. Its about 10-1/2" long. Mine is rusted and necked down right near the threads. Any idea on a source ? Thx |
