Hey all in the midst of working on my bench seat trying to remove the back from the bottom. Sprayed the 4 big phillips head screws down and still cant break them loose any tips to remove them?

Use a Phillips socket and ratchet, otherwise you will strip the screw heads. You will never generate enough torque with a screwdriver.

I have found the Impact Driver tool pretty handy in situations like this. Can't say I had to do my seats that way, but it'll do the trick. Here's a link to the craftsman version...

Soak in penetrating oil and use a little heat with a propane torch first. Then the impact driver should do the trick.

let them soak in penetrating oil over night. get big screwdriver and tap them good with hammer. try to tighten and loosen.
