T221 lube opinions
Just finishing up a rebuild of my T221 and wondering if anybody out there has opinions on what lube is best to keep it happy. I keep a bucket of both GL 4/5 and Synthetic gear lubes for my old junk, and would tend to use one or the other unless somebody has a better suggestion.
For the record I always use a mag plug and change the lube every two years in all the trans/x-fers and diffs I own. Thanks for any input Tom

my old gear to gear stuff i do 1/2 qt of lucus oil stabilizer and top off with dino grade oil .

I would just put the same oil you're putting in the 420. Keep it the same and you can just get the GL/4. I've been getting the Sta-Lube off Amazon.
