Subscribed just so I can follow along on this one, good luck Pete. I’ll be needing one down the road.

Hmmm, I thought that sending unit look familiar.. LOL

I Looked for a long time and just stumbled on that one on Ebay.

One alternative I started to look into was one from a 49-59 GM Truck, they look close, mount the same, the fuel tube is angled different, although it is a 30 ohm unit I do not see why one could not use the "90 ohm resistor pod" off of a 67-72 sender, my biggest unknown is if the depth is the same.

I'll definitely keep you in mind as I search. I've got more trouble shooting yet to do on mine - it could be fine.

Re: WTB: Auxiliary fuel tank sending unit #6428850

I’ve got an unknown sending unit that may be the one from the pictures. I got it from Livrat 6 or so yrs ago. Looks like the one pictured but not the box. I’ll dig it out of the garage rafters today.
I’ve been searching for inspiration to work on my suburban again. This and another thread I saw today may be the start I needed.
