Where to put new driver's side junction post

I'm getting into tidying up some wiring and I'm going to install a junction post on the left side. Between the washer bottle and core support maybe, pretty much straight across from the junction by the battery , not a whole bunch of room there. Or on the core support on that vertical piece left of the rad.
What do you guys think?

I'll also be upgrading the wiring from the alternator to this new post and across to the battery. My headlight relays are in that box on the core support so they'd get power from the new post , too

When I did my LS swap and switched the battery from the right to left side, I added a new junction block to the left fender in the same spot it resided on the right fender.

I was looking at that , it just seems a bit tight forward of the washer fluid bottle. It would fit there, but you'd just want to be really sure you disconnected the battery before messing with it

Re: Where to put new driver's side junction post

I just installed a two post junction block from a 1980's Gm truck on the radiator support behind the headlights, sorta. Everything related to that junction and it's general area is under construction right now, so when I went a took a picture right now, it really looks like a horrible mess--which is a bad way of advertising on how to clean and organize your wiring. So I decided not to post the picture....

EDIT 2: I basically mounted the junction right where the little hole is directly above the voltage regulator(pic borrowed from VetteVet)

Re: Where to put new driver's side junction post

Thanks, I'll check that out

That small hole is one of the ones I used to mount my relay box, and another one a few inches above it

Here is a photo of how I mounted mine. I used a marine insulated post.
For more information on the rewire see the link scroll to post 467.

Ah, yeah that looks alright tucked under there a bit. I was thinking of putting the post over top of that speed hole which is just up and aft of yours.
I'll make up my mind eventually

Thanks

At the time I had considered mounting the post to a piece of 3/8" plastic plate and mounting the plate to the bottom of triangular bracket just forward putting everything out of sight. It wouldn't have been much work but, it would have made future access to the post more difficult so I decided against it.
