Inner fender liners

Can inner fender liners be installed on a 1971 K20 with out removing the front clip ?

I haven't done it on the K trucks.
However, it is possible on the two wheel drives.
Remove the wheel.
Jack up on the frame so the axle hangs from the springs.

I removed them from my 72 C20 2 days ago with the wheels on (jack stands on frame)
