WTB Below Eyeline Mirrors (DG4/D29)

Got my C10 back from the kid who bought it earlier this year, minus a driver's side mirror. I want to get rid of the sport mirrors and go to below eyelines. I see I missed a few pairs recently, throwing this out there to see who might have a set they want to sell.

Would prefer the painted ones (D29) but will also consider DG4/Stainless. I like the shorter 72 arms but my truck is a 71 so I'll consider the longer arms too (some of the numerous holes in teh doors probably line up with the mounting holes LOL).

Anyone got something they'd want to part with?

Re: WTB Below Eyeline Mirrors (DG4/D29)

Hello, I believe I have what you need. 1972 D29's.

Rubber on both mirrors is really good.

Glass is not broken but does have normal 50 years worth of little scratches - NOTHING large and distracting.

One mirror has what I'll call a "Crease - Ding" at the edge of the mirror that caused a 1/2" section to "come away" from the rubber part 1/16" of a inch. I think the pics show it pretty well.

All brackets & arms are intact (nothing bent) AND the bolts are not broken off.

You'll notice that the bottom acorn nut on both mirrors is "open" as if it was cut (ground off) on purpose to keep water from collecting in the acorn nut. The other acorn nuts that are up on the top where the mirror attaches are intact.
I'm including a bunch of new plastic washers and new acorn nuts (not a perfect match to original) and some mounting to door screws (not original but close).

I'll let the pictures do the rest of the talking. If you have questions and/or want to PM me for additional pictures feel free.

And here is the pic I tried to send you via PM. Note I will remove the existing Sport mirror, I was just holding the brackets up to the truck to see how they aligned. The lower tabs were not flush with the door panel which is why I asked if I should bend them.

Re: WTB Below Eyeline Mirrors (DG4/D29)

From your pic it does seem as if they do need to be bent a little. I have a spare set of DG4's so I pulled them out and took close ups of the angle using a printed protractor so you have a comparison.

Not to belabor a WTB thread but thought I'd post shots of how they turned out. Love the look!
