wiring issue

Had to take out the ididit column from my truck for repairs. (Tilt lever came loose from column shaft. Repaired by ididit). After reinstalling everything my running lights come when I touch the brake pedal. Pretty sure we replaced everything as before taking apart. Any ideas.

Re: wiring issue

I am ASSUMING that everything work fine before you took the column out. I am also going to assume that ididit assembled it correctly. So based on that I would check the connectors from the wire harness to the column. Make sure none got bent, shorting out, etc.
Keep us posted I am interested to see what the issue is.

Re: wiring issue

Evidently when ididit reassembled the column they turned on emergency flashers. Reset flasher switch and all is good. Thankful it was as simple as that. Planning a 200 mile trip to Somerset Ky to cruise weekend Friday.
