Door to Cab gasket ?

A guy was telling me that there's a thread on here about snap in gasket instead of the factory glue in style, I'm having trouble with the search feature, so my question is what vehicle are they using them from,
Thanxs

Re: Door to Cab gasket ?

I believe they are from 2006-2011 Honda Civic Coupes (2dr)

I believe there are several other threads going back several years about these seals as well.

I found a set in usable condition (7/10) and at the junkyard they were about $22-25 for both sides. Wrond interior color and there was one small tear on one side of the stripping, but good enough for my truck.

Are you referring to the Precision Press On Door Seals? That's what I used, no gluing required. Got them from GMC Pauls, they are still listed on his website.

Re: Door to Cab gasket ?

I bought them from GMCPAULS . The fit was excellent and my doors close without slamming them .The Honda gasket has been discontinued.

If you haven't painted your truck yet watch the Stout Customs video on using the Altman easy latches and precision seals for no slam doors.

Door you have a part# fr those gaskets? I'm actually building a blazer but it's topless roadster style, without a top and the windshield frame has been shaved with the drip rail removed. Not using blazer gaskets.
Thanxs fr all the information guy's.

Re: Door to Cab gasket ?

I used the precision press on seals. They are nice but my door's don't close as nice. Not sure if they are thicker than the glue in or my old seals were just that worn out.

I have the Precision press-on door seals and the Altman Easy Latches, what a huge difference they make in closing the doors. I highly recommend both products.

GMC Pauls part #17879061, for 67-72 chevy/gmc trucks. Look under "Rubber & Weatherstrip".

Re: Door to Cab gasket ?

Regular old glue on, just like stock, worked perfectly with stock latches.
