switching a 1975/203 to a 1980/205

Hello looking at switching a my 1975 K10 with a 203 to a 1980/205 would there be any issue or should everything bolt up.

As long as you have the correct adapter for the swap and maybe the spline sleeve depending on which transmission you have

Its a 205 from a 350 going on to my 350 that was mated to the 203. I think they both are 27 spline. Not sure if 32 spline ever made it in a 350

If a 205 doesn't have the ID plate are there any other markings or cast numbers that will help Identify the year etc. Thanks

you may need to change driveshaft lengths
