I silicone greased the hole in the A arm along with the rubber part that goes in the hole and then put the A arm and bumper in a vise and squeezed it in. Took a little effort but it went in with no damage. Would help to have one person hold everything in place while someone else closes the vise.

My complete front end is now together. I am having a hard time pushing down on the bumper. I did spray silicone spray on both pieces.

Obviously you can't use a vise now. Maybe you could wrap a nylon cord or something around the small nub and then pull it through, maybe using a pry bar or other tool as leverage. Sounds pretty challenging for sure. Good luck.

Sounds like an idea. I though it would be easy to install. I had it all put back together then decided to replace them to and now here I am.
