70-72 reproduction door mirrors convex.

Looking at the flat glass chrome ones. There's the convex for the passenger side. I've called a few retailers asking if it's a matching pair if I went with the convex mirror. They said they're not a matching pair in style. Can anyone confirm that? I'd like to get the convex passenger side. Why would they not make a matching pair?

Re: 70-72 reproduction door mirrors convex.

I think they're referencing they DON'T COME AS A PAIR, but individually. The convex is only for the right/passenger side. I got mine from Holley, I believe*. I am very unhappy with it. Though it's "convex" it clearly was made by someone that didn't know what they were doing. only the very perimeter is convex, the rest flat, thus making the use out of the mirror only the 70% of the mirror useful - meaning the center area. all the rest is soo poorly distorted. So buyer beware. Please let me and others know if your product is better than mine, and who you ended up getting it from.

___________
*I say believe, because I attempted to post a review on the mirror, but Holley will not post negative comments of their products, only positive reviews. I have experienced this a couple times with Holley/Brothers.

Thanks for the reply. If I went with the convex, I do have to buy individually. But I did ask if they were similar in style. I was told the arms are different. I don't want mismatched mirrors so I'll probably just buy both flat mirrors. And with your experience, more for me to stay away from the convex mirror. And it seems like just about all the aftermarket carry the same mirrors.
