Speedometer Cable Length

I would like to know the correct length of the speedometer cable for a 68 with auto trans. O'Reilleys says it is 100". which is way too long.

Re: Speedometer Cable Length

I bought my speedometer cable from GMCPauls, and it fit correctly on my 2WD automatic. It is listed as being 70" long.
