1/2 ton springs on 3/4 ton truck

i was just wondering if anyone had tried this and if it would work. i've got to replace the rear trailing arms and i've got a set of 1/2 ton springs, and i figured that if i was already there that i could put in the other springs. Thanks, Steve

It might lower the truck some, but not a huge amount I would assume. The ride will be a lot softer though
