Tip and flip cab dolly?

I know a ton of those plans were sold, I actually bought a set when they were offered up the first time.

Just curious if anyone actually put one together and used it. Love to see some pictures of it in use. And thoughts on how it was using it would be great too.

Im going to need a cab dolly soon and am trying to decide which way to go.

Re: Tip and flip cab dolly?

I didn't build the one you're talking about but I did piece one together out of scrap lying around. It makes working on the cab almost fun. It can be flipped by one person but is very stable in all positions. I'm sure the one made from plans is even better. Mine only flips to the front & rear, the plans one flips to the sides also.

Re: Tip and flip cab dolly?

I bought the plans and my son worked at the local Tech school. The students got to build it. They never seen any thing like it. Here it is in use. I think it works great.

Re: Tip and flip cab dolly?

I bought the plans and made the tip & flip. Did it as a favor to the guy who did my body work. He loved it and it saved me more than it cost in shop hours. Then he bought it from me when he was done with my pickup.

Don’t have any pics of it in action (tipped).

Re: Tip and flip cab dolly?

Yes about 1000 of them
I made a Redneck version of it.

I kinda took ideas from others and put one together.

Here is one from the board I really like.
