Re: Steering Question..

I`ve never seen a drop pitman arm, only drag links and steering arms off the knuckle. The steering arms are sold as 4-6" lift. That`s what I always do.I don`t like the dropped drag link because it`s supposed to be straight and being bent causes more roll against the joints which makes increased side stress.

Get some pics posted of your current setup. www.wfoconcepts.com makes custom sterring setups and has great service to make sure it is the right setup for your rig.
Have you looked into doing a crossover setup?
:mm:

I have never really looked into the crossover setup. but from the looks of it the drop pitman arm that WFO has looks like it will work. ill get some pictures up soon, but we did a little modifying to the drag link, and yeah. i can drive it now, but with the worst bump steet i have ever felt on anything.

thanks a million.

I used a steering arm on a 6" lift and bump steer is about non-existent.The plan was for crossover/high steer, but I sold it.Did you center your steering box?
