ok so i bought a aftermarket washer pump, directions are crap, so i looked around the forum and it seems the hot wire goes to the yellow wire and the negative to the middle blue wire. in the first pic is the wires that plug into the back of the switch, is that middle wire the blue wire people refer too? and the second pic is of the old pump and wiper motor, which yellow wire do i splice into? the top nearest pump, is my thought(pic is sideways i used phone stuffed through radio hole) thank you

Why not unplug the wires from the stock pump, put spade terminals on the wires for the new pump, and plug those into the connector? This way you don't cut anything, and if you ever want to replace the stock pump you can do it.

I did this to mine. Yellow wire going to the motor goes to the red wire on the external pump. Check with a multimeter that the yellow wire is hot with the key in the run position. Actually any 12 volt key on source will work. Black wire on the external pump goes to the middle blue wire at the wiper switch. I used spade connectors and was able to stick them into where they needed to go.

I just did this on mine and the pump still isn't pumping. I know the pump works. I hooked pump + to yellow and pump - to the light blue middle wire on switch. Nothing. :(
