My dad drank it all the time too. If I have some left from making the cookies I will drink it but I don't buy it just to drink. Thing is, I don't like Sour cream or cream cheese. I guarantee you would gain some weight if you lived next door to me, if you like sweets and homemade ice cream.... LockDoc

Re: Bad decisions or twisted logic?
My dad drank buttermilk, too. I wanted to like it but...
This thread is funny. I keep thinking about different things with it. I mean two day old chili dogs??? How good could they be even if kept in a state of the art refrigerator that actually still works? Soggy and falling apart, right??? You still call that a roll... bread? More like chili flavored bread pudding I'd think. Hey, eat what you like. I won't even judge. But they do say you are what you eat

I eat plenty but it just doesn't stick. I can eat a 1 pound burger and lose 2 pounds. I can really eat anything. Sometimes I pay the price. The chili dogs were good. They just didn't sit too well. I had a burrito smothered in Habanero sauce the other day. It burned my mouth, made my eyes water. My nose was running and I was sweating. But it was so good. I'm going to have another one next week.

Re: Bad decisions or twisted logic?
Man that must be nice I love spicy food but once I put the first mouthful in the clock starts and I know I have about 45 minutes to find a bathroom same with ice cream and really greasy food. Getting old sucks used to have a stomach of steel now it’s rusted out.

Hey Paul, you know there are people who eat road kill.... but only if it's fresh! So far so good with spicy and probably the whole iron gut thing. My problem isn't a rusted out gut, it's a slugged up one. Probably a problem tootin' the gluten

Re: Bad decisions or twisted logic?
Yesterday I got the chance to stop here for the first time in a long time. Was really glad to see that they have made it through the pandemic so far. I thought of you Paul. If you make it up to this neck of the woods, let me know and we'll go.

Re: Bad decisions or twisted logic?
Did they tell you that they just sold them to an old hippie in California and he crapped his pants.

Re: Bad decisions or twisted logic?
Couple of thoughts.
I know a guy who will cut the green stuff part off meat and eat the meat without a care. He's still alive though I don't know how. My Mom used to like left over corn bread crumbled up in a glass of cold buttermilk. I love corn bread but not buttermilk so I tried it once using regular milk. Just once.. Mom loved tomatoes but hated ketchup. I love ketchup but hate tomatoes. My wires got crossed? What rhymes with Wienerschnitzel?

Re: Bad decisions or twisted logic?
Hahaha - they could just drop them in second day air envelope, fold and seal and send them on their way to you. No refrigeration, no nothing.

Re: Bad decisions or twisted logic?
I now have a weekly meeting and Matt's Chili Dogs is on the way. By the time I leave my client's office, I'm unable to talk myself out of it. Shortening my life by 25 minutes every week...
Just so you know, he gave me two free punches on the card since it's the first time I've had a punch card from there. I think this may be how addictions get started... |

Re: Bad decisions or twisted logic?
Dirty underwear.
I don't care for tomatoes either. On a burger or a BLT, then yes, but straight no way. My wife eats them but I won't touch them. I'm good with Ketchup and Marinara and salsa. My wife will not even look at peanut butter but she loves peanuts. I don't get it. It's the same thing.
