hi i was wondering if a 350' intake would work on a 283'

yes,from a 265 to a 400,all are the same.

would it have more power with a 350' or with the stock 283' intake

I would try and keep the stock intake. They had the OIL SPOUT on them instead of using the valve covers. But if you want power and performance the edelbrock performer (NOT RPM PERFORMER) is pretty good for a truck motor. They may even have one you can put an oil fill tube on to keep it stock looking if you want.....................Ed.
