Lightbulb Turn Signal Question???

My turn signal blinker went out on me a few days ago, and it's bothering the hell out of me. The light goes on when I push it up or down, but it doesn't blink anymore. If this has happened to anyone please give me some advice...Thanks

also, just make sure all your bulbs for the
turn signals are lighting up...have you
replaced any bulbs lately? Make sure you
used the correct numbers. But Like Fast

A bad bulb or a bad flasher will stop your turn signal from working on the older GM's.This makes it easy to know when you have a bulb out.I doubt they intended it to warn you but it is handy.

They did intend it to be that way, and they still do it. Also, the indicator is supposed to stay light when a bulb is out up front or back. I think they still do it this way, I know the '92 S-10 Blazer does it.
To do a quick free test on the flasher, just swap the other one that is on your fuse box, it goes to the 4 ways.
