A/C options in pickups

Out of curiosity, did any pickups have factory A/C before 1967? Just nosey.

Option code C60 in '66 got you A/C...the heaters were optional in the '66 and older too.

Yes they did I have seen 66 and a 65 with factory air.
It was a desirable option in Texas.
I am not sure when they started It would seem around 64.
I am sure others will have the exact answer for you.

I can find A/C all the way back to '59 in my book.
It was commonly a dealer add on, although available as a RPO.

Once looked at buying a chevy pickup, I think it was about a '56 or '57 or so that had A/C. Had a box that sat on the floor towards the passenger side. Took up a decent amount of space on the floor board. As I recall, the compressor was also fairly large. I just assumed it was a dealer ad-on, but really don't know.
