Could this be the ULTRA RARE roof top driving lights option? NOT!

I am a sucker for suburbans, I admit it. So I stop to look at this truck on the side of the road. 72 C20 burb, the interior is ochre and the exterior is bumble bee yellow and black. there is spray foam coming out of every rust hole. None of the rockers remain. But those driving lights, I just have to do that to my burb!

BTW, their price was $600 on this beauty. Located in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota.

lol. It's another rare breed of spaceship truck! Although, I must admit, I've seen 67-72s in MUCH worse condition that than for more than $600. There's one right down the road from me that looks like it's been sitting for 20 years, absolutely junk... $700.00 marked on the window.....

Research should proove that these lights were part of the 454SS Suburban package and that this owner removed the 454SS decals to avoid all of the 6 figure offers for his truck. He later died and gave the burban to his grandson who put in a 250 straight six, cut the dash for a CD player, cut the door panels for 6x9s, scraped off the options sticker inside the glove box door so he could put some Ozzy stickers on instead, and remebers "something about some ultra rare decals that grandpa' was talking about just before he died."

I'd go back and pay the $600 and find the 454....you found a rare gem.:p

I would buy it if it was me. But then again I'm an idiot when it comes to burbs.

Shaved handles

Notice the nice shaved door handles! They must be on a run to the hardware store for more Great Stuff to fill them in. Hopefully the yellow foam matches the paint so they don't have to paint blend on the doors.

I can't believe no one has noticed the Ultra Rare "Hover" option. The rockers look it may have landed hard a few times. Could it be that the lights are part of this package?

Looks like Russ72C10 did notice.

One more reason Krylon paint jobs should be banned.

It's got tow hooks. Could it be a converted fire dept 'burb and they had to fill in the old style roof flashers with something?

From the looks of that front tag it 's been towed more than it has towed anything.

Or was that tag a part of the 454SS package ???? LOL

With a name like Sleepy Eye, they must have a lot of shanty motels and truck stops.

I get the vibrating bed with all the stains!!

One eye looking at you, the other looking for you! I work with a guy who has a glass eye, he always jokes around about that.

Insert Simpson Captain Character "Eeyaree glass eye, two of 'em!"

Getting Carried away!
