Question bumper fit question

i need your help on this guys, will a 62 chevy c10 fleetside rear bumper and braketts mount up to a 65 fleetside frame,i am selling the bumper to a board member but we want to be for sure. it will work. i haven't got a truck 64-66 truck to test fit it on, but if i remember correctly the only difference in the 60-63 c10 trucks is the shape of the top part of the cab, like the wrap around windshield and the front t bars crossmember, thanks truckman32

truckman32, If I remember right, 60-62 used the torsion bar front suspension, 63-66 used the A-arm front suspension. 60-62 frames are wider than the 63-66 frames. The brackets and bumpers are different. The holes in the bumpers are wider apart and the brackets are shorter on the 60-62 than on the 63-66. Hope this helps. Kevin

There were definitely more changes in '63 than just removing the torsion bar crossmember. I understand that '63-up frames weren't X-ed either.

I looked up control arms to see if they were different, but then I realized that they also changed ball join styles in '63 so that doesn't yield any clues.

If I were a betting man, though, I'd bet that they would NOT fit.
