Parts questions...
I'd like to get a new speedo cable for my truck since the old was is actually snapped in half.
Most places sell the 68" and 72" cables, whats the difference? I have a 65 SWB with a 3spd manual and 350 sbc. Any idea on what i'd need? I also tried grounding out of my fuel sending unit today to see if the gauge would move, but it didn't budge an inch. Anyone have any idea's about that? I think the gauge may be messed up, but I dont see any replacement gauges for sale anywhere.

Re: Parts questions...
1BadSS, American Classic Truck Parts (www.americanclassic.com) has speedometer cables as well as a gauge exchange program. You might see if they can help you. Hope this helps, Kevin
P.S. I think the only difference in the speedometer cables is the length, depending on what transmission was in the truck. |

Re: Parts questions...
I thought the longer speedo was for a 4x4, since the speedo goes to the transfer case, and it's a little further back than the tranny tailshaft would be.
