Re: Anyone know if

I've done it & I almost had a brain hemorage. It is a very tight space & you'll need small a few wrenches at various angles to do it. Yes, it can be done, but next time I'll pull the fenders.

Re: Anyone know if

Use an offset boxend and you should have no problem, just takes a little time. There is one problem, or should I say you will think there is, as you loosen the bolts the backing bracket may start to wiggle, I thought that it would drop off upon removal of the last bolt, it didn't, must be some type of holder inside. I did this when I rebuilt my hinges. My 2 cents, Steve

Re: Anyone know if

Mark the location of the hinge on the door and then remove it from door then there is plenty of room to take it off the cab side, you can allso take a short pencil and mark the cab hinge side to get them to lign back up when re-installing.

I have done it with it on the truck but never agian its easier to just losen up the back part of the fender to gain a little elbow room inside..
