New half cab

finally got the 67 c 50 top done for the blazer, and just in time for the morning temps in the 30's. This should answer the age old question'has anyone made a half cab out of a truck top ?"

Re: New half cab

Looks great. I finally got a soft top off ebay. The one I want except in the vinyl instead of denim but I'll take what I can get but I hear STC is about to start up again in Texas

Looks good. Can you give us some more close up pics? What did you do for the bulk head?

Re: New half cab

I'll post close up pics in a few days, (13 hour shifts) Sorry, no faq as I paid a guy with more time than sense to make it. I bought Norby's half cab to use for measurements. The bulkhead is a fleetside front bed panel and some 2x2 steel. The fit is awsome. Glad to hear you got your top Norby!

Re: New half cab

Thanks for the compliments. I went with the small widow so I can go for the complete 67 look. No side markers, gmc Custom emblems and the buddy buckets. The bed cover is a Pace Edwards jackrabbit roll top for a 67-72 short fleetside with the side rails cut down to fit.

Re: New half cab

I'll put more pics in on Tuesday, yes the top still comes off. The top is for winter use only! Now that I've driven it for 8 months with no top, it's the only way to go. I think most blazer owners will agree.
