Question Cargo Partition Panel??

Going through the factory assembly manual, I came across an odd page showing a Blazer with a cargo/seat area partition. It is similar to a front bed panel cut down to fit just aft of the seats.

Has anybody actually seen one of these or have one of these in their Blazer or Panel? Did this ever make it into production?

TIA anybody - Bob

Re: Cargo Partition Panel??

sounds like the bulkhead section used with the half-cab hardtop.

You can see one installed here:

Re: Cargo Partition Panel??

There are a few things in the factory assembly manual that were intended but not known to be produced. What you are talking about does sound like the bulkhead, but half tops were not produced by the factory so this may be one of those items that never came to fruition.

Can you post up some pics, I need one. Curious to see how the factory envisioned this part....

Re: Cargo Partition Panel??

Guys - I will try to scan the page today. I know the assembley manual has some cancelled pages but they usually say cancelled.

This really looks like a front bed panel cut down a little narrower, lower flange removed, and then angled back a little using a brake.

I'll try the scan. I am just not to computer savy - too old to learn new tricks - Bob
