Interesting how they cut a single walled top and grafted...something onto it.

Lots of 'interesting' mods done to that one.

Some original Ideas. An Indiana fan would love the "Crimson and Cream" interior.

That is pretty interesting. Chrome bumpers would sure set it off nice for me but other than that, I like it alot. Will be interesting to see the final price.

Very clean - just a few things that I didn't like...

red door handles and exterior door lock covers
front and rear bumpers
front turn signal mounting position in grill
red painted badging under fender turn signal

I think the red painted items would have looked 'cleaner' if they were kept chrome. Just my opinion.

If they were going to take the car apart completely and go through it - why wouldn't they spring for some new aftermarket seatbelts (or at least clean up the old ones a little better)?

Don't get me wrong - I would buy it - if the price was right - just a few things I noticed when going through the pix.

I will also be watching to see what it goes for.

I second that. But you know that is someone's future pride and joy. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Just don't ask me to holdher. I'm just kidding but I would lose the red painted accents and the huge painted bumpers.

Is it a fair guess to say that because everyone is using the word "interesting"; they appreciate the workmanship but dont really care for the final product? That's my take at least.

I have some sketches for a hard tonneau cover. I'm just not sure how to finish it off at the doors. It would sit on top of the bedrails.

I personally don't like much about that truck. The colors and top look cheap to me. I don't understand the bed cover. If they want it to be a pickup, just pull the back seat. Who is going to ride back threre with that top on anyway. The wheels are not my thing either. Modern wheels don't look good on these trucks.

Hey Johnny, I think you hit it on the head, that is exactly why I used the term interesting, because I can really appreciate all the hard work & ingenuity that went into that Blazer, but of course there was some things that I didn't like about it, & I'm sure that's whwy I used the term :interesting" But it is a cool rig none the less.

Hi guys, I'm new here, but not new to Jimmy's or Blazers. I ordered my 72 Jimmy back in late 71, and still have it. Kids called it their playpen, then grandkids, and now great grandkids. Enough about me. Just thought I'd put my 2 cents in on the top on that truck. Back when they were newer they had a aftermarket half top for them, which is what that is. They sold for around 250.00 new. Thought about getting one, but never did. If I can help anybody out with what they originally came with, let me know. I know mine is original. Nobody has ever worked on it but me.

believe that one is a "True" one. I still believe it's a custom "One off" Well
it does seem to look alot like one I don't think it is. Still well done though.

THE ORIGINAL REMOVABLE HARD TOP WAS CUSTOMIZED TO BE A LIGHTWEIGHT CAB TYPE TOP THAT IS VERY EASY TO REMOVE BY TWO PEOPLE. IT HAS THE SMALL TYPE REAR SLIDING WINDOW FROM A 1967 CHEVY TRUCK.

I like it overall. I'd lose the bumpers and change the door handles and the grill bow tie, but it's a nice rig. I like the painted grill surround. This thing is nicer than anything I own.

I like the color combo and how they matched the consol and made it two tone. Neat idea. I have thought of painting my bike the same except with a champaign to go with the burgandy.
