I installed a poly tank in the rear on a 71 SWB and put the filler in the wheel tub. No problem with install.

My new tank just got delivered to the office this morning. Thanks, WES! Sending unit is on it's way. I'm interested in the wheelwell filler idea. Tell me more! What size fuel line did you run, by the way?

Wow, thanks for the pics! That looks doable. What did you use for the filler neck, the one from the cab?

It is a marine filler. I think it was $15.00 at the local boat shop.

Wow! Thanks for the info! You've made me change my mind on mounting. I'm not going thru the floor after all!

Thanks again, just got back from boat shop. Ordered the filler, will be here next week. Boat shops are a little hard to find in Tucson.

If your leaving it in the cab I would make sure the other tank is goodand clean check you sending unit and replace the filler neck seal, hope this helps.
If your going under the rear with it then the guys above got you covered.
