Post sm420 tranny problems

My 4spd tranny worked fine before I took it out of my truck for a new clutch. But since putting it back in it won't shift into reverse, anyone run accross this problem before? All I did was remove the cover w/ the shifter, and then put it back, on. Could something maybe have come out of alignment? All the other gears work fine.

I would guess that you did not get the reverse shift fork engaged properly with the gear when you re-installed the cover on the tranny. As I recall, this would be pretty easy to screw up.
