Re: More stuff for sale

Not sure what year the yoke is from. I've had it laying around for a while. The 551 is the last three digits. I think I looked in Summit. The mufflers have been sold. There was no commitment, so they were sold to the next person. If the comment "I'll take them if they are 40 series" or something like that, then I would have waited for you. Sorry if there was any mis-communication. Brian

Re: More stuff for sale

Why do you think I was asking on them ...If I wasn't interested I wouldn't have posted a question.....you didn't give me the opportunity let you know if I wanted them or not.....hell this is the second time you have done this>>last time I asked you a question on a driver side window regulator from an older post and you never replied...I know that there are alot of people on here that post thier 2cents on every post that they see...but I am not one of them!

Re: More stuff for sale

Clos69,
Maybe it is time to step back and relax. Burnsman has been a longtime member here in good standing and was not trying to screw you. When you post wanting more info you need to be clear that you want them pending further info. There are a lot of people who ask questions and then never commit, wasting the sellers time. There have been many discussions on this very topic. Technically I could have been bypassed if someone offered the full price before burnsman got back with his expectations for price. I took that risk by not offering full price immediately, (which is what I paid in the end any way, but still a good deal). Just like buying a car. Just because you are asking questions doesn't mean that someone can't come up and say I'll take it and it be gone just like that. Just relax, and don't get your Blood Pressure up. There will be other deals. Now you know that you have to fully commit pending pics, info, etc.

Re: More stuff for sale

Shawn-
I disagree....you can not compare this to buying a car....I believe I was first in line on the mufflers>>Can you tell me who in their right mind commits to buying something without getting any info for the product or from the seller?Do you? Just because someone after me says "I'll take it!" doesn't make it right in my opinion...at least I know I wouldn't do that to someone.

He did exactly that. He committed but in a way that gave him an out. He said he wanted the control pending pics, as I did. He did not commit with his first post...he made an offer. I could have offered full pop and got the controller but I too wanted pics before I commited completely. I was "in line" because I said "put me in line pending condition". Burnsman answered everybodys questions and jorgensensc was the first to make a full commitment on the control....Adventur1 was the first to make a full commitment on the mufflers. Had you said "I'm interested in the mufflers if they are 40s" then you would have had your partial commitment. You would have been first in line.
