Re: 1964 wiring diagrams

I wouldn't say this is the drawing, but this one seems ok for my 65. I picked up on over at clasiccarwiring.com that I do now use. Note it has numbers which are the gauge of wiring.

This might be what you are looking for. I saved it to my hard drive and can zoom in with the viewer I have.

Re: 1964 wiring diagrams

Guessing. I call it trouble shooting. Honey turn that switch and I just tap things until they work and try to remember which did what.

Hahahaha. Seriously a good wiring diagram can save you hours and hours of guess work. I had an old VW once that would not start unless the head light switch was on. I later figured out it was because well the power routed through the headlight switch and back down. Free ignition kill switch and I didn't even know it. Of course the gas gauge never worked, but eventually I figured that one out as well.
