I need either a 3/4 ton or 1ton crew cab - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Does anyone know where I can get a 73-87 crew cab [4 door] ,preferably with no motor or trans and CHEAP? I dont want to spend more then around $900 for it as I willing be installing new motor,trans, suspension, tires etc. plus chopping the frame. All old stuff will be junked so the more stripped the better! But I do need a good strait body.

383 stroker,10:1 compression,vortec heads, roller rockers,performer RPM intake, Demon 650 double pump carb, MSD ignition, headman headers, muncie four speed, 3.73 12 bolt rear.

THERE ARE QUIT A FEW IN SAN DIEGO. THERE IS A SALVAGE YARD OUT IN EL CAJON WITH LOTS OF PARTS. I THOUGHT ABOUT SELLING MINE, BUT I JUST DON'T KNOW.I'LL TRY TO FIND THE NAME FOR YOU ON THE SALVAGE YARD.
