adjustable fuel pressure regulator

Hey guys im looking for some info. I have a stock 350 witha 2 barrel carb. I have to run a electric fuel pump. How much pressure do i need. It seems to be getting way too much gas. Anyone suggest a regulator from a parts store?

The pump is a universal autozone/advance auto parts special. Nothing like a holley or name brand like that.

Re: adjustable fuel pressure regulator

What pressure is that pump rated for? It shouldn't need a regulator. If you have to have one the holley 12-803 is the one everbody uses for nitrous regulators.

You need to have between 6 and 8 psi.

IF YOUR TALKING ABOUT THE INLNE UNIVERSAL PUMP YOU DON'T NEED A REGULATOR THEY'RE RATED AT MAX PRESSURE 7 PSI AND I WOULDN'T RECOMEND THEM THEY'RE JUNK, I HAD TO REPLACE LIKE 2 OR 3 OF THEM BEFORE I SWITCHED TO AN EBAY ONE THAT I'VE HAD FOR A LITTLE MORE THAN A YEAR WITH NO PROBLEMS.
