88 SBC in 48 Pickup Questions on belts and brackets

I am planning to put the 88 Carburated 350 in the 48 Chevy. The brackets and all accessories were off the engine when I got it. I am not really planning to use the serpintine setup and was wondering if anyone had pictures of the V belt setup for the Power Steering and Alternator. May run a/c later, but not worried about it right now. All the brackets are in boxes so it makes it kind of tough to figure out what goes where. I am pretty much in the mock up stage, just wanting to make sure everything fits. Thanks for any advice and pictures.

Thanks, that picture is helpful. Looks like the long water pump setup which is what I have. Did you pulleys have a v groove and a serpintine groove? I will print a copy of your picture and see if I can get this figured out. I assume you have room for the fan or were there any modifications to use a standard style radiator?

Any chance you have any pictures from the side and/or back of the PS unit and Alternator? I apparently do not have all the brackets that were suppose to come with this engine. Thanks

One other thing. The PS pulley is bent. Does anyone know how do you get this pulley off? I have used an allen wrench and pipe wrench to try to get this thing off, and it will not budge. Thanks

You will need the proper tools to remove and install the pulley.

If I recall, a press is best for removing this pulley.

If you have a checker or Cragen Auto parts store they will rent, loan you the puller, it is also the installer tool.
