Re: I'm one of you guys now
Back from obscurity
I got a new to me 350... you can read about it here http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=344351 I fired it up on my engine stand yesterday..... wait did he say he ran it on an engine stand???? yep, it is a cheap harbor freight stand none the less, crazy, huh? loaded her up in the '80 and took it down to the car wash today....got her all cleaned up I got all new gaskets, seals and a freeze plug kit to go on her in the next day or two....probably be weekend after next before the swap. I'm planning on hauling the truck and trans to the car wash after I pull the 305 to clean them up and maybe some fresh paint in the engine bay. I'm excited to start working on my square again

Cool man!!
When you pull the engine and wash truck up lemme know, we can get a quart of chassis black and spray the engine bay while its all out. |
