Re: 8 lug wheels - what's on YOUR truck?

Here are mine on a 71 C20 Custom Camper. I dont really like them and hope to switch them out ASAP. I really like the slotted mags.

I've got those same exact rims. Polished up, I think they look great.

I bought a parts truck and they were on the truck with good tires... 300 bucks for the parts truck. I sold a bunch of parts off of it, got everything i needed and had it hauled off for free. I think i got a good deal.

I really like those wheels. Any idea of the brand? What size are they? If my slots don't work out I'm going to be looking for something like those instead.

Anyone have these Dodge rims on their truck? I think they would look sweet on a 67-72. Thoughts? they are 17x8's and you can get em in satin, polished and chrome...

Re: 8 lug wheels - what's on YOUR truck?

Bubz,

Thanks. Both front and back are 16". The front are 8" wide, the rear are 10". Front tires are 245/75R16 and rears are 285/75R16. The rears have a perfect offset for the truck, the tires sit perfectly at the side of the bed. The fronts are still a little too inside, but I will upgrade to disks soon, so that should help a bit.

I actually run a set of those on my 1stgen Cummins truck. I think to make them work on a 4x4 you'd have to run a spacer I had to on my Dodge cause the hit the Tie rod ends, Keep in mid these wheels have a lot of back space and would be tucked severley with out spacers. I'm not sure how they'd work on a 2wd though

And FWIW, there are a few different versions of these as well, Some of the satin and painted ones are just cast whereas the Polished ones are all Forged

I might have to do an experiment for grins and giggles.

They look good on Dodges
