It IS a shortbed, It is the shortest I have. My other one is 12 feet. She has a Buick 455 in it that will come out. Want to drop a LS in. Will go down to frame and start anew. I don't think she will remain dark olive, maybe solid Carbon Metallic Black like on new GM's. I plan on giving it to my grandson when he can drive, well maybe his second car--HA
