Re: Project Blaz-Air
Looks great! Is that a goat engine in the last pic in #139? That going to be your power plant?

Re: Project Blaz-Air
Okay, I remember now, I went back and looked at the pics...WOW! That is the bad boy with the 6speed manual. Sorry, I have a ton of threads I like to watch that's why I forgot. I try to watch all the LS builds. Excuse my ignorance, but is the LS2 a pushrod engine or DOHcam design? That thing is what 400HP? Awesome!

Re: Project Blaz-Air
Its a pushrod setup. By the time we install the new cam and intake we should be close to 500hp

I was at a dealer the other day looking at a new SS camaro (wish I had $38K extra). Anyway, the salesman said he thought the 6.2 in there was a dual overhead cam. But the valve covers and heads looked just like my 6.0 in my 07. So, I think the vette is really the only gm dual cam v-8 ls engine? or what about northstar? BTW, the salesman at the lots nowadays are as dumb as a rock.

For f-bodies, 6.2 autos (the L99) come w/VVT (variable valve timing); 6spd manual equipped cars (the LS3) do not get the VVT.

Re: Project Blaz-Air
Where are you getting your PCM reprogrammed? What color are you painting the Blaz-air?

I really get sick of the GM car salesman knowing nothing about the product they are selling. It kinda reminds me of when I go to wally world and ask the guy in electronics about a big screen tv. Know what I mean. |
