Re: PO has me PO'd

Well. it is official! With the purchase of a '70/'71 front bumper from Mike and Jen Neville (great people to do business with) I have all the years covered on my front end, except '69...'67 grille, and core support,'68 fenders, '70/'71 bumper, '72 chassis. I do have NOS van turn signal lights, which may be '69

Mike has acres and acres of used parts, they're moving 30 miles up the road a piece, so you might get a good deal on parts now since he doesn't want to haul the used stuff with him. He said that there still is alot of good used trucks in that area of the country. God Bless America!
www.nevchev.net also a web site, but have to look it up

Thanks BobbyK, for the idea of mounting driving lights in my bumper, gonna steal it

Re: PO has me PO'd

Dang, Kurt, your right again! '72 outer front bumper brackets won't fit on a '70/'71 bumper!

The bumper is alittle tweaked on the drivers side (right where that blue trapezoid is), so I will have to pull it out when I get the new brackets. Chrome is in excellent shape for 40 yrs old

Also found out that a factory console will fit between utility seats

Give me an idea of how I find the right ones in my pile and I'll send you a set.

All of em are mixed together, I have no idea what's, what.

I'll give you a measurement and a pic., do you want some '72's to replenish the stock?

Thank You for the kind gesture, Breadhead...lol

Re: PO has me PO'd

Thanks for lookin', these are 18 1/2", so it seems I would need brackets in the 20-21 inch range, or bigger dunno.

If you happen to come upon a 'L' bracket I could use that as well, bought one, but it has a 90° angle and I need more of a 45°. No big deal ifyou don't have one, GMC Pauls has repop

Thanks for passing it forward

Re: PO has me PO'd

Go take some better pics, so I can see 'clearly' the shape of them...please.

I have two different sets, one set measures 20"s end to end & the other is 22"s.

Need your snail mail addy too when you get a chance.

I'm on her good side, just built her a laundry area, the units used to be on two differant floors, plus the new Malibu, plus the new toilet(that in it self is a long and interesting story), plus the new job, and the list goes on. I should be good for 10 years of misbehavin'

I could always blame it on Kurt, since he couldn't see the brackets on the concrete

Re: PO has me PO'd

Seems a bit congested behind my water neck, so, planned to move it to the passenger side head...easy right! Snapped the extension at the detent ball, guess that's why they are called (disclaimer, no product referrance intended). Can't believe I don't have a tool to get this plug out, guess it's time for heat, and or PBblaster
