Intercooler mount?

Well, I know there are a few turbo trucks on here and plenty of supercharged ones, and turbo diesels. Where have you guys mounted your intercooler, I am going to install one on my dads burb, it will be used for a turbo setup and a supercharger setup. I just cant figure out where to put it, I am fine with make a "scoop" for air behind the bumper or something. Thanks guys.

Re: Intercooler mount?

i got my boost tubes punched through the rad support and the intercooler mounted infront of the rad. Had to cut out the latch and grill brakets to make it work tho

Re: Intercooler mount?

Same as above! Holes in Radiator support. Intercooler mounted directly in front of Radiator.

Re: Intercooler mount?

I know it's an 89-91 burb core support, but might help

I thought I had more close up pictures. Anyway, I made half circle cut outs on the intake and outlet sides of the core support, and used existing holes in the front side to route the tubing.

Re: Intercooler mount?

We mounted the intercooler between the front framerails, smoothed slotted the front bumper and made a scoop to channel airflow up through it... we vented the hood on both side to let the air pressure out.
