lowering my 69 c/10 (need info)

Hi, was wantin some info on lowering my 69 c/10. it has coil springs in the back. I've seen the spindles on ebay, there 2.5 drop. also the coil springs, there all different sizes. my rear sits a little lower than the front now. my question is what all do I need to lower my truck. Guess i'll go for a 2.5 drop. Also what size tires and wheels will work at that height. Thanks for any info

If you still have drums up front, you cant just use the spindles, you need to convert to disc... Mine has 3 inch springs all around, and a 2" block in back with 4 wheel drums still

Thanks, yea i have already changed to disc brakes and 5 lug rotors

Jesse, as far as lowering your truck, it's going to depend on how "low" you want to go, and your budget.

Minimal lowering 2/4:
2" front springs
4" rear springs
Option - New shocks and shock relocators
(Some consider running a 3" spring, also an option but the shocks and relocators will be a must IMO)

Lower:
2.5" drop spindles (Matched with a 1-3" drop spring)
5 or 6" drop springs (optional bolt in c-notch - NOT REQUIRED)
New lowered shocks
Shock relocators
Super-trac Bar (aligns the rearend back up)

Lowest:
Bags or Dropmember

Wheels:
This is kind of a free for all. I've ran stock wheels, ralleys and larger dia. wheels. You will get a million different responses, you just have to make sure they will not bottom out on the inner fenders (front or rear).

All specs are in my build thread listed above, as well as in my signature.

They are 20x8.5 and 20x10 w/ 255/40 and 295/40 respectively.
