Re: 79 C10 swap with L92 with 6L90

Transmisson without transfer case

Is there any way you can find out a part number for that tail housing when they converted it. I have a 6.2/6L80 out of a 2010 camaro. it has a hard flange, but i want to swap to a traditional yoke style like yours and i'm having a hard time finding just that part. even a phone number to the tranny shop you used would be nice.

I bought the drive shaft from the donor vehicle but it's two-piece with a carrier bearing and i've heard bad things about them. worst case, i'll adapt it but i've got serious power and would REALLY like a one piece shaft..

thanks,

Justin
