Re: 1966 SBBW pro street

i just read the whole thread and have to say this truck is gonna be awesome!! you said something about painting it green and white then you got the bedsides from a green and white truck, thats funny!! i know what you mean about bondo, i had 1/4" - 3/4" bondo on the back corners of the bed on my truck and some spots up to an inch on the tailgate before hammered it out and cut it out!! i love the prostreet and pro tour looking trucks!! good job man keep it up!!

Re: 1966 SBBW pro street

Thanks for reading it all and giving me some feed back....everyone

Today's questions :

Trying to decide what to do with the tailgate .....considering blanking it out and putting a mural on it, but i really like the stock look too. I was thinking about leaving the chains on the tailgate for looks but weld them to make them look like they work and open but they move with the gate. Then put a remote lock on the inside for function. The way my fuel cell sits in the back and the way the floor in the box is all... bead rolled, once it's painted I can't see anything going back in there.

Then I need a 4" cowl hood....should i put a fiberglass one on a hood ?...I found a steel cowl piece we could put on.......but maybe we should make a cowl for the hood that has the factory lines in it ...use a old hood cut it out of the center graph it onto a good hood or bead roll it in?....I guess we could even bead roll in some flames or something.....

So many questions so many choices....any ideas or thoughts ?
