Question Removing Window Regualator from '67 'Burb

Having problems replacing my regualator from my 1967 Suburban.

It should be easy to remove after taking out the four screws that hold it in right?

Well its not.

The crank is stripped is why I am replacing it and having one helluva hard time removing it. Is there any specail trick I am not aware of to remove this assembly?

Thanks in adavance.

If you have removed all of the bolts, then the sealant has it glued on.

Give it a good twist from inside the dash with you hand on the motor, and see if you can get it to break the seal.

It must be in a bind or something as I can not roll down the window at all. Hince the reason why I am replacing the regualator.

But as stated, it's stuck and GOOD.

There is no sealant holding it in place at this time so it has to be something else.

But thanks for your suggestion.

Hey no problem I do that from time to time.

While I got your attention I noticed your sig has your 'Burb as a 1968 K20, my insurance card came back as a K15. Does that make since?

IIRC the 1500 designation was used on the 1/2 ton GMC trucks, and then 2500 on the 3/4 ton GMC trucks.
The fact that it's on your title from the DMV, sounds like a mix up on the person that originally registered it?
