"Tubbed" tire width???
I am considering going to Cragar SS wheels with Mickey Thompson or Mcreary tires for that "Pro-Street" look. I have a '65 Fleetside. It looks like I could blow out my rear inner fenders and have enough clearance. I am sure lots of folks have done this. Pictures?

Check out my thread. I am running 15x12 Cragar S/S on 29 x 15.50 x 15 M/T's on a 1996 S10 rear end. The only change i have to do is extend the inner fenders some but that is all.

i took an extra set of stock fenders and used 2 sets to make into 1 wide set to keep that stock look, kinda

This is pretty much what I did. I'm running a set of 18-inch section width tires.

My rearend housing is narrowed (51" from housing end to housing end)...I did that because I'm running a vintage set of US Wheel 16x12s that only have 4" BS with the Hoosier Pro Street Radials/and a set of vintage Ansen Sprint 15x10s with 3.5" BS with MT ET Street Radials...I had to find a median between the two. You can run a wider wheel and tire combo on a stock width rear housing (I still have lots of room to the frame) with a more modern wheel manufacture that offers more backspace options.
