Re: How many build their rides that do not do this for a living?

Hospital engineer -- boilers, chillers, plumbing, electrical, drywall, paint, wallpaper, pumps, air handlers, exhaust fans, irrigation systems, emergency generator, company vehicles -- if it's broke in the hospital we take care of it. I also do maint. and remodeling work for a veterinary clinic owner, and my parents who own several rental properties. If you can work with your hands you will always be able to find work.

Two car garage and not enjoying the space but no choice. Not looking forward to painting this thing in it either. My father in law just painted a 64 vette in his garage and the house stank bad!

I am a network engineer for a wireless company by trade. I am working on my 55 in a 12x40 rv storage until we can get it to the house. I built my 72 Buick and now we are working on my sons 77 camaro in the home garage.

Re: How many build their rides that do not do this for a living?

Spent my time with a large Communication Co as a construction supervisor retired in 1990 but have been working on Chevys since 1963, still driving my Vettes and my trucks that I have restored over the last 40 years. I do all my own work outside but have the finished cars in the garage.I need a bigger garage or stop collecting vehicles, I have been told NO MORE by the cook!!

Re: How many build their rides that do not do this for a living?

I'm a construction superintendent, mostly hospitals. The garage is where I keep my sanity. In the pic (garage) is a never scratched or dented 69 Firebird I'm doing now.
